Solo in the Wild: 7 Days & Nights in Algonquin Park-Part II
Day 2 was a paddler's dream. Cruising through the lakes, I knocked out a few easy portages, and claimed a beautiful, breezy open site to enjoy the evening. It felt like paradise, but the park was just softening us up. Day 3 marks the turning point of the trip. Ahead lie the notorious, muddy, quad-burning carries- the ones that test your gear, your grit and limits, while questioning your packing choices. #canoetrip #algonquinpark #outdoors #portage #nature #backcountry #solocamping @leakdryoutdoor @Ontario_Parks
