G4 Icons Season 4 Episode 6 - Ralph Baer (2005)

I once emailed Mr. Baer some time around 2000, back when it was a novelty to be able to have an online exchange with one of your childhood heroes. Now with twitter, Facebook, etc, I don't think people get as giddy about that but I was pleased as punch to get an email back from him. But it was basically just your average short fan mail as I didn't expect him to reply but I do remember it was a kind and thoughtful reply. I first heard of Mr. Baer in a 1993 of Videogames & Computer Entertainment magazine, which I still have to this day and I may link to a scan at some point in the future. Baer was one of the foremost major players in making videogames a form of home entertainment. Rest in peace, Mr. Baer.
