I paired everything with spicy chili kimchi and spicy green onion kimchi ❤️ I didn’t want to eat the pork jowl just boiled, so I turned it into a soy-braised dish instead… and wow, it was so good I almost blacked out for a second 🐷 Since pork jowl is naturally tender, I cooked it for much less time than pork belly. The flavor is similar to pork jowl/neck, but the texture is waaaay better! It’s unbelievably soft—when you take a bite, the juices literally burst out 🤦🏻‍♀️ The crunchy bok choy dipped in the sauce was amazing, and the fresh cherry tomatoes were perfect for cleansing the palate. The soy-marinated eggs were savory and nutty, so they went down so easily 👍🏻 Eating everything with kimchi made it an unbeatable combo 🥹 I’ve completely fallen in love with this braised pork jowl and I’m definitely going to make it regularly from now on!
