Understanding International Plumbing Code: Chapter 1 - Scope and Administration

The International Plumbing Code starts out in Chapter 1 by laying out the general rules for how plumbing is to be done.  The scope and administrations details that code officials or inspectors are in charge to enforce the code and it gives them the authority to do so. This chapter also outlines the processes and requirements for permits and applications for plumbing work. This video is based on the 2021 International Plumbing Code, so chapter 1 might look a little different than previous versions of the code, however, the information has remained the same in the 2021 edition just in a different order.
