Il Museo Stibbert e le sue collezioni di arredi, armi e armature

A journey from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, culminating in the rich rooms of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. This is Friedrich Stibbert's extensive art collection, built thanks to the rich inheritance he received from his grandfather. Stibbert dedicated his entire life to gathering it in his home on the Montughi hill, a few kilometers from Florence, which he later donated to his hometown, Florence. In an interview on ARTECULTURA, the ILI Editore program hosted by Angela Maria Scullica, Enrico Colle, Director of the Stibbert Museum, recounts the collector's story, taking us on a journey through time through the incredible rooms of the House Museum. ARTECULTURA, the ILI Editore program that addresses the major themes of human history, the evolution of thought, ideas, and the arts, with the aim of contributing, through discussion and debate, to promoting in-depth study to increase and disseminate knowledge.
