Riscoprire La Specola - I Restauri

After major renovations, the La Specola Museum reopened in its historic Palazzo Bini Torrigiani, marking the University's centenary and the 250th anniversary of its foundation by Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo. The museum is expanded in terms of both its layout and content: thirteen new exhibition rooms, two new itineraries—dedicated to the beginnings of wax modeling, botanical waxworks, and mineralogy—as well as a new ticket office and bookshop.
