Exploring Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi - Inside the Newest Wonder on Saadiyat Island 🦕🏛️

Exploring the brand-new Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, located in the stunning Saadiyat Cultural District! As an architect and designer, I had to check out this incredible space — the building itself, designed by Mecanoo, takes inspiration from natural rock formations, with terraced facades and botanical gardens growing right into the structure. Inside, the museum takes you on a 13.8-billion-year journey through the history of our universe and planet, complete with dinosaur skeletons, a blue whale, and immersive galleries on Earth’s evolution. In this video, I’m walking through the exterior architecture and gardens before heading in sharing my thoughts as a designer on the materials, landscaping, and overall concept.
