I hope this video gives you a flavour of the 'Soldiers Through The Ages' event, held twice a year by Ian Pycroft of Black Knight Historical at the majestic ruins of Castle Rising in Norfolk. www.blackknighthistorical.co.uk www.castlerising.co.uk www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/castle-rising-castle/ For 3 days, under clear blue skies and in temperatures that exceeded 32ºC (90ºF) which for the UK in May was a record, we entertained and informed the public, put on a daily arena demo and took part in the grand finale moat walk (only on the Saturday due to the heat) and chronological group's skit, always a crowd favourite, if not the reenactors!
