Castle Rising
Castle Rising is a stunning, exceptionally well-preserved 12th-century Norman castle located in Norfolk, England. Built around 1140 AD by William d'Aubigny, it is famous for its lavish stone keep and massive 20-acre earthworks. It famously served as the luxurious residence of Queen Isabella, the infamous "She-Wolf of France".
