How to Grow Lapageria rosea - The Chilean Bellflower or 'Copihue'

The national flower of Chile is Lapageria rosea also known as the Chilean Bell Flower and 'Copihue'. Although this beautiful flower looks like a tropical plant, it actually grows in the cool mountain areas in Chile, this means it is easy to grow in cool to temperate climates, as long as you know how. The waxy flowers come in rose pink to red and even white, so variety is available.
