Dick Clark's WHERE THE ACTION IS (60s "cousin" to American Bandstand) Part 1 of 2

WHERE THE ACTION IS, sometimes referred to as the "cousin" of AMERICAN BANDSTAND, was produced & hosted (via voice-overs) by DICK CLARK. The teen music show ran from June 28, 1965 to March 31, 1967, and it aired Monday thru Friday (Yay!). The performers were seen lip-synching, on beaches with teens in bathing suits, snow-covered ski resorts, foreign locations, & nightclubs. It was so much fun. Cool to see various locations around the world in the sixties. ***The video images are somewhat rare; because of this, I would rate them (out of ten) between a 6.5 - 8. But there are so many cool moments throughout, I felt it was worth to share in the hopes these segments will bring some pleasure. In this PART ONE, performers include Paul Revere & the Raiders (the "house band" of the show), The Everly Brothers, Joe Tex, Mitch Ryder, Brenda Lee, Roy Orbison, Lesley Gore, The Four Tops, Major Lance, The Turtles, The Sandpipers, Tommy Roe, and show "regulars," Keith Allison, Steve Alaimo, & Tina Mason.
