СПИНОЗА: ВОЗВРАЩЕНИЕ ЧЕЛОВЕКА В МИР

In the 17th century, European thought began to develop a new image of the human being. The image of the autonomous subject. A being who thinks, chooses, makes decisions, and exists seemingly apart from the world. This image is so familiar to us today that it seems almost natural. We speak of "my desires," "my decisions," "my path," rarely asking where such a picture of the human being came from. But there was another tradition. A tradition that proposed starting not with the individual, but with the whole. Not with the subject, but with relationships. Not with the autonomous "I," but with the world within which this "I" emerges. One of the first figures in this line of thought is Benedict Spinoza. In this video, we will not examine Spinoza's philosophy as a university course, nor will we rehearse his "Ethics." We will be interested in another question: why Spinoza believed that man is not a "state within a state," and how this idea became the first step on a long journey that would later lead to Hegel, Marx, Vygotsky, Kurt Lewin, Gregory Bateson, and the modern systems understanding of man.
