Cycling 760 km from Tai Po, Hong Kong, to Guilin, China! In Episode 6, I cycle 133 km from Huangyao Ancient Town to Yangshuo, passing a hand-operated ferry, Guangxi’s karst mountains and Fuli Wharf on the Li River. The route is full of long climbs, but the best part is meeting two cyclists travelling in the same direction. We ride at a similar speed, so we decide to continue to Yangshuo together. These unexpected encounters are what make bicycle travel so special.
