Samarpan means ‘offering’, ‘total surrender’. This is an initiative by the alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Institutions (Sri Sathya Sai Students) as an offering in their loving gratitude to Swami. For Sai Students, Swami is their parent, guru, friend, philosopher, guide and God. All initiatives organized are with total surrender to Bhagawan, whose divine guidance has helped them achieve several small and big milestones. Hence, ‘total surrender’ to His Will. Samarpan is a platform for students & staff, devotees and alumni to re-connect with their Lord. A platform where senior devotees share their personal experiences with the Lord. The speaker shares his personal spiritual journey spanning from 1949, recounting miraculous experiences and life lessons learned from Swami . Divine Interventions: Childhood healings and miraculous protection, including being saved from a life threatening fall Family Devotion: Stories of his parents' dedication and how his family was deeply connected to Swami's teachings Service & Discipline: Lessons learned at Prasanthi Nilayam about selfless service (Seva), time management, and discipline through simple tasks like watering plants and maintaining cleanliness Academic Excellence: Swami's guidance emphasizing that education should serve society and nation building, not just personal gain Spiritual Practices Key teachings including: God's omnipresence ("GPS") Managing negative emotions through "thought-exchange" Daily surrender and dedication of activities to the Divine Notable Quote: "There's always a difference between what you want to do and what is the right thing to do... whenever you are at that particular 'Y' junction, just pray and seek His guidance." This is a Samarpan talk aimed at students, alumni, and spiritual seekers, focusing on practical spiritual wisdom and personal transformation through faith and service.
