Massive 4 alarm fire consumes Victorian home in Northbridge, Ma

Shortly after 3:30pm, a passerby noticed smoke coming from the rear of the house and called 911. Nobody was in the Victorian home, which was built in the 1800's. With heavy smoke in the distance, a 2nd alarm was transmitted enroute. 3rd and 4th alarms were transmitted shortly after. Due to heavy fire and deteriorating conditions, firefighters were forced to evacuate the building and go to exterior operations. It took about 6 hours before the fire was brought under control.
