The Quilt I Made for Nathan

Some quilts are made to be given away. This is the story of the quilt I made for my late husband, Nathan. It was a New England winter scene quilt made from simple strips and sized just for him. I gave it to him on Christmas morning while our boys were opening gifts, and he kept it on his lap all morning long. If you've ever made a quilt for someone you love, you know it isn't just fabric and thread. Every stitch carries a little piece of your heart. That's why I created the Quilting Your Legacy series. Because the quilts we make become part of the stories we leave behind. 🧵 Download your free Stitch Your Story workbook and start quilting your own legacy: https://www.nortonhousequilting.com/p... If this story means something to you, I'd love to hear about someone you've made a quilt for. Leave me a comment below. I read every one. Happy Quilting Your Legacy, Emily
