Hidden Quilty Gems in Wales | I find 3 different Quilty corners!

Who would have guessed this little Welsh town could provide so much quiltyness? In this vlog I head over to Wales- I’m staying at my Dad’s house to look after his cat while he’s on holiday, and I enjoyed a little holiday too. We visited the Welsh Quilt Centre in Lampeter, and although the galleries weren’t open there was still plenty to discover, and a really helpful guide who explained all about the collection I found it really interesting. Afterwards, we visited the Calico Kate quilt shop - it was an amazing little treasure troves with rooms and rooms of fabric. We found an unusual little craft shop called The Snail of Happiness - a mix of new and pre-loved knitting and sewing goodies - and the lovely owner had time to show and explain a piece of equipment that was a complete mystery to me! We also visited the Creative Cove, Mr Oakapple was happy because there was an excellent selection of art stuff in there. As always, time for refreshments breaks and a bit of banter…….
