[Psalm 6:1-10, Revised] (1) [A Psalm of David, set to the eighth string of the choir] O Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger, nor punish me in your wrath. (2) O Lord, be gracious to me, for I am weary; O Lord, heal me, for my bones tremble. (3) How long, O Lord, will my soul tremble? (4) O Lord, return and deliver my soul; save me with your love. (5) In death there is no remembrance of you; who in Sheol will give thanks to you? (6) I am weary with my groaning; every night I flood my bed with tears and drench my couch. (7) My eyes are weary with grief; they are darkened by all my enemies. (8) Depart from me, all you who do evil; the Lord has heard my cry. (9) The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will accept my prayer. (10) My All enemies will be put to shame and tremble greatly; suddenly, in shame, they will withdraw.
