Snowmobile Trailer rebuild, Wire harness, lights, axle, tires, flooring...

This is a "how to" video on rebuilding a sled trailer from the ground up. The frame is in great shape but everything else was just shot from sitting for so many years. I was going to just repack the bearings, but as I began to look over the axle, wiring and lights, it was determined to just rebuild the trailer with everything being new. So, I'll show you on how to run the new wire harness, lights with new grounding wire then the light install followed by the axle install. We later added support to the rear decking before installing the flooring followed by the ski slides/guides. The D-Rings will be added at a later time since they had not arrived. Axle was ordered from Karavan Trailers. Lights and wire harness were ordered from E-Trailer.com. All nuts, bolts and decking screws had to be bought from Home Depot. RE: Decking screws - we used self tapping galvanized decking screws by TRex. Trailer dealers that sell self tapping decking screws are a lot different than TRex. The TRex are a smaller screw head where the screws bought from a trailer dealer, the head is about 1/2" across. So, it is a much larger head to prevent the screw head from ever being torn thru the plywood. We did not have a trailer dealer who had these in stock and to order would have taken much too long to arrive.
