The BBX is Tamiya's latest rear-wheel drive buggy, a model inspired by Stateside full-size single seater racing buggies. It is based upon the realistic BB-01 chassis, which features a lower deck with flat underside, mounted upon which is a roll cage, frame and suspension; the battery pack is in a longitudinal position, and the motor is placed at the very rear, giving the rear traction a helping hand. The sealed gearbox contains a ball differential, while four aluminum cylinder oil dampers ensure exemplary performance. Our designers selected front double wishbone (A arms, 25-degree caster) and rear trailing arm (adjustable) setups for the suspension, and the stylish body is a polycarbonate six-piece design. BBX is a rear-wheel drive RC buggy with modern high driving performance based on the concept of traditional single-seater racing buggies that are popular in the United States. The chassis also pursues a realistic feel, such as the frame and suspension configuration that combines a roll cage with a lower deck with a flat underside. The running battery is placed vertically, and the motor is mounted at the rear end of the body, so that the drive wheels are fully loaded. The sealed gear box is equipped with a ball differential. The suspension is equipped with four high-performance, high-quality aeration oil dampers made of aluminum cylinders. The front is a double wishbone with upper and lower A-arms with an attack angle of 25 degrees, and the rear is a trailing arm configuration with adjustable alignment. In addition, the polycarbonate body, which features a sharp form that is full of realistic feeling, is composed of six parts.
