We know that different books and topics have been written related to this national mobilization, which is undoubtedly a historic event. On this occasion, the protagonists are all members of the Chilean Navy, embarked on different units that made up the naval force deployed in the conflict area, as well as quartered in the disputed islands and others that make up the southern zone south of the Strait of Magellan, all of them in the ranks of Sailors, Marines, Sergeants, Petty Officers and Senior Petty Officers, who, together with their superior officers, were willing to defend national sovereignty with their lives.
