Within the historical events experienced during the year 1978, we can confirm that it was the largest national mobilization that has ever taken place in our country since our National Independence, on this occasion more than 1 million people were mobilized including military personnel, marines, airmen, Chilean police, students, huaso clubs, state railways, professionals in all areas, there were thousands and thousands of young citizens, older adults who voluntarily enrolled to defend our sovereignty, actions that were totally silent which very few knew, only the relatives knew the fates of their loved ones, this historic audiovisual document produced by the Corporation "Arturo Prat Chacón", is a tribute to each of them who did not hesitate to defend their homeland against foreign threats.
