Our Longs Peak Summit taking the keyhole route. We traverse the boulder field, climb through the keyhole on to the ledges, trough, and narrows, and finally make it up the homestretch to the summit. The keyhole route is not to be taken lightly. After your summit triumph, the hike is only half over. 7.5 miles back down is just as strenuous as up.
