Police Promotion Success - Video 46: MAKE IT BRIEF - IIMARCHD

In video 46 of my 'Police Promotion Success' series, I continue the subject of briefings, often used to assess oral communication in force promotion processes to Sergeant, Inspector or Chief Inspector. To help you avoid 'panic stations' on this subject, this video will help aid your structure for briefings, with the structured briefing model, IIMARCHD. The Human Rights aspects will be particularly relevant to those in Police Scotland, being overtly relevant to your force bespoke values under the CVF. Here's one of my blogs outlining this and other briefing models to help you structure your briefings, because they can be relevant across any assessment centres. In the next video, I will outline SAFCOM... www.policesuccess.co.uk/blog/how-to-nail-police-briefing-exercises For further support on your preparation for the whole promotion process (including application, interview, example evidence, practice questions, presentations and more), see my suite of downloadable guides and Video Masterclass available on my website.
