TV Surdo Mozambique is a Mozambican organization of and for people with disabilities that works towards an inclusive society and promotes the rights of people with disabilities. Its work is based on three main lines of action: (1) advocacy, (2) inclusive communication, and (3) capacity building. The organization seeks to ensure accessibility to health, education, employment, and climate change services. For these three lines of action, TV Surdo works systematically to eliminate discrimination, prejudice, and stigma. In the education component, the organization produces a 30-minute television program called "PROGRAMA DA TV SURDO" (Deaf TV Program) which is broadcast on national television channels at the following times: STV NOTÍCIAS: Saturday - 6:30 AM | STV: Saturday 1:30 PM; Thursday - 1:30 PM | TVM: Sunday - 9:00 AM | MEGA TV: Tuesday - 5:00 PM; Sunday - 12:30 PM. At the same time, TV Surdo produces and disseminates various educational content through its networks, helping to promote a more inclusive society.
