First Time Hearing David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

Hey guys, this took a decent while to get out, but I'm so glad I finally got it out. This album was one of the more challenging albums that I've had to listen to so far, just because the lyrics themselves felt like poetry and that I had to really dig deep to get some of the meanings. I feel like I did the best I could on a first listen, lol. The melodies on this album are insane, and the orchestral arrangements really stood out to me. The guitar riffs were insanely solid, and most of them are iconic for a reason. I thought that the album concept was really interesting, and it's cool to see how Bowie kind of influenced future artists with his alter ego character. The whole concept was bizarre, but Bowie somehow pulled it off. I mean, a space alien coming to the Earth to save it from it's impending demise.. come on, that's gold. But it was so much more than just that, Bowie really explains how this character went through highs and lows throughout the album. He starts off as a rockstar, but as time goes on, the fame and money and everything that came along with being a rockstar started eating away at him, and honestly, I've seen that happen with some people.
