Listening to Aladdin Sane by David Bowie for the First Time

Loved this album. I seriously just keep listening to such good albums recently... I keep getting left speechless by a lot of songs. This may be a hot take (or not I don't know) but I enjoyed this album more than The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust. I think that came from a bunch of different factors, but I think the main one is that it was very avant-garde feeling, and the addition of Mike Garson just made the album reach another level. Honestly, some of the best piano I've ever heard personally. Also the drums and guitar fit perfectly with everything. Some of the guitar solos on here were phenomenal. The lyrics and storytelling on this album were also peak, and you can really imagine the stories that Bowie is telling and the imagery he uses is amazing. I didn't go over the lyrics in this one, but I feel like that made the experience more enjoyable for me. I'm definitely going to go more into the meanings of these songs and the album on future listens. After listening to this album, I am much more excited for the rest of Bowies discography, and I plan on doing it on order, so Pinups is next! I can't wait to get to the Brian Eno collaboration albums too. Thanks for watching!
