✅ Don't forget to subscribe to my channel for new recipes and turn on the BELL (🔔) to notify me 🤗❤️ 💬 You can contribute to the growth of my channel by writing your likes and criticisms about my channel and recipes in the comments section. 📲 You can support me by sharing my recipes and channel on social networks. ⸻ 🌿 Lentil Meatball Recipe 📝 Ingredients • 2.5 cups red lentils • 3.5 cups water (add water gradually depending on the type of lentils) • 1 medium onion (finely chopped) • 1 teacup of vegetable oil • 1 heaping tablespoon of tomato paste • 1 tablespoon of red pepper paste • 1 teaspoon of dried mint • 1 teaspoon of black pepper • 1 teaspoon of cumin • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes • 4-5 cloves of garlic (optional, finely chopped) • 2 cups of bulgur for meatballs • 5-6 sprigs of fresh green onions (finely chopped) • A quarter bunch of parsley (finely chopped) • For serving: curly lettuce & plenty of lemon 🍋 • Optional: olive oil (to adjust the oil ratio) ⸻ 👩‍🍳 Instructions 1. Put the lentils in 3.5 cups of water 1. Boil the lentils in water until softened. 2. Sauté the onion in oil until translucent. 3. Add the garlic and sauté for a few more minutes. 4. Add the tomato and pepper paste and mix. 5. Add the spices, adjusting to your taste. 6. Add the bulgur to the boiled lentils, cover and let rest for 30 minutes. 7. Transfer the mixture to a tray, add the onion mixture. Add a little olive oil if necessary. 8. Add the fresh onions and parsley and knead. 9.
