8 marcas de CAFÉ que deberías EVITAR en España (y 4 que sí valen tu dinero)

Every morning you make yourself a coffee. It's your ritual, the most innocent part of the day. Well, take that package from the pantry, turn it over, and look for the word "BLEND" printed in small print. If you find it, your coffee contains SUGAR. Burnt sugar, caramelized on the beans during roasting. It's called TORREFACTO, a practice that spread in post-war Spain to lower coffee prices and disguise lower-quality beans, and today it's almost nonexistent in the rest of Europe. But millions of Spaniards continue to drink it every morning without knowing it. IMPORTANT and honest: torrefacto coffee isn't poison; we've been drinking it for generations, and many people like the flavor. The problem is that almost no one knows what they're consuming, that it was used to use less coffee, and that you're paying for it in the price of coffee. In this video, we explain: — What TORREFACTO is and why the beans come out black and shiny (it's not oil: it's caramelized sugar). — The word "BLEND": it doesn't mean a mix of varieties. It means the proportion of burnt sugar. — The hidden owner: long-established Spanish brands that belong to two international giants. — The capsules: do the math on the price per kilo and brace yourself. Let's count down from 8 to 1: cheap blended coffees, pure torrefacto, Marcilla, Saimaza, capsules, Bonka… And number 1 is the tin you recognize with your eyes closed. We'll show you 3 home tests: the package test (plain / blend / torrefacto), the bean test (matte vs. shiny black: separate them on a plate), and the cup test. And we won't leave you with the problem: we'll give you 4 real coffee options and a two-word golden rule: PLAIN, NOT BLEND. ⏱️ VIDEO INDEX 00:00 — Your coffee has burnt sugar 01:15 — Torrefacto isn't poison (let's be fair) 02:00 — What we're going to see today 02:45 — What torrefacto is and why it was created 04:15 — The word "BLEND": what it really means 05:30 — The 8 brands to avoid (countdown) 05:45 — #8: Cheaper blended coffees 07:00 — #7: Pure torrefacto (bar coffee) 08:15 — #6: Marcilla 09:30 — #5: Saimaza (and the same owner) 10:45 — #4: Capsules (do the math) 12:15 — THE 3 TESTS: package, bean, and Cup 3:30 PM — No. 3: Bonka 4:45 PM — No. 2: Brand-Name "Blend" Ground Coffee 6:00 PM — No. 1: Nescafé Clásico (and the puzzle) 📌 ON THIS CHANNEL Every week we uncover a product from the Spanish supermarket. It does not constitute medical or nutritional advice. The information is based on public labeling, current regulations, and publicly accessible ownership data. The brands mentioned are used for descriptive and informational purposes, not for commercial or defamatory purposes. ALL are legal and safe; roasted coffee is a legal product in Spain. The criticism is directed at specific product lines (the "blend" or roasted coffee references) and not at the brands as a whole: all the brands mentioned also market 100% natural coffee. The reference to instant coffee alludes to its degree of processing and type of bean, not its safety. Each consumer must make an informed decision. #SmallPrint #Coffee #Roasted #NaturalCoffee #Nescafé #Marcilla #Labeling #Capsules
