We found a HIDDEN GEM in Malaysia! Tioman Island

It’s no secret that we love island- life, and this one…? Man… We fell in love with Tioman! We might even go so far as to say it’s on our top three places we have ever visited together! Where to stay? Tioman is a huge island and you have several different beaches and we stayed at Juara Beach which was lovely, quiet and tranquil! The water is crystal clear and the diving and snorkeling is so good: Turtles, sharks, stingrays and corals! It’s a 20 minute drive from the ferry in Tekek! An other good option (that has amazing underwater life as well) is Salang Beach! Incredibly beautiful, BUT it’s a three hours hike or a boat ride away from everything! Where is the taxfree? If you want to enjoy a glass of something in the evening, make sure to stop by the taxfree shop in Tekek! Want to do a hike?
