La biblioteca de Menéndez Pelayo
Menéndez Pelayo was the great Spanish scholar of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A true institution, he was the author of an extensive body of work whose influence endures to this day. But he was also an excellent bibliophile, who treasured and cataloged countless books throughout his life, amassing a library of more than forty thousand volumes.
