10 years abroad changed me more than I realised
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about identity and what happens when you’ve spent so many years living somewhere that isn’t where you grew up. After 10 years in England, I can see how much the experience has shaped me. At the same time, my partner and I are preparing for a move back to Germany, which has made me think about home, belonging, and the different versions of ourselves we carry over time. In this video, I’m sharing some thoughts on navigating different cultures, growing up away from home, and trying to make sense of where all those pieces fit. I’d love to know if you’ve ever felt something similar.
