Edge of the Envelope - MSFS 2024 (4K) - KGRR - KDTW

Happy Friday, friends! Glad you are here! Today's jaunt takes us from Grand Rapids to Detroit in the fabulous FlightFX/Marwan Gharib HJET HA420! Go ahead and roast that bone, friends, if that's your thing. The HJET is incredible looking aircraft that I've had on my wishlist for a while. It's such a unique looking airframe, with the jets on stilts attached to the wings. I wonder if that engine configuration is better or worse if a wing falls off. Let's hope that doesn't happen today! Spoiler alert, we're going to make it to Detroit, mostly in one piece. But, it won't be the cleanest flight we've ever done. That's fine. We've got a bit of an extended setup this morning, since I have to enter the flight plan. Once we get into the air, we can enjoy the amazing sounds of this whisper quiet jet. The engine audio is chill enough that we can enjoy the storms in the area! Watch out for the lightning! We get into a really bad spot with the throttle coming in, so the approach looks really sketchy today. However, we manage to blindly find the runway - somehow - so we'll count it, even if we don't want to relive it! Have a great weekend, friends.
