2004 Detroit Pistons Championship Ring Ceremony
November 2, 2004 - Nearly five months after winning the third NBA championship in team history, the Detroit Pistons opened the 2004-05 regular season with the presentation of championship rings and the raising of their 2004 NBA championship banner. In addition, forward Rasheed Wallace bestowed upon his teammates a collection of professional wrestling-inspired customized championship belts. The 2004-05 Pistons went on to win 54 regular season games before pushing the San Antonio Spurs to seven games in the 2005 NBA Finals.
