The Art of Slow Living | Finding Beauty in Ordinary Days, Strawberry Jam & Butter Cookies

Welcome to a peaceful and cozy day at home 🤍 In today’s vlog, I’m sharing a slow living day filled with family moments, cooking, a visit to a nearby farm, and simple homemade recipes full of love. We started the day with my husband and our son Dom, went out to a local farm, enjoyed the fresh air, and brought home beautiful flowers 🌸 Even without finding strawberries there, we still made the most of our day and created special memories. Back at home, I prepared comforting homemade meals and treats that remind me of my childhood and family traditions. 🍓 Homemade Strawberry Jam Ingredients: fresh strawberries, sugar, a little water Cook on low heat until thick and reduced (about 30 minutes). Be careful not to add too much water, as strawberries naturally release juice. Set aside to finish thickening if needed. 🍗 Creamy Baked Chicken with Cabbage Ingredients: chicken breast, cabbage, carrots, green beans, onion, garlic, butter, cream cheese, cheese Slice the cabbage and place in a baking dish Cut chicken breasts and season Sauté onion, garlic, butter, and cream cheese to make the sauce Place chicken over the cabbage Add sauce and cheese on top Bake at 380°F for 25 minutes until golden and bubbly 🍪 Butter Cookies with Strawberry Jam Ingredients: 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 stick butter Mix everything until you get a soft dough. Shape cookies and bake at 300°F for 15 minutes. After cooling, fill with homemade strawberry jam.
