Stepping out of my comfort zone | Viva cardigan, Poppy vest and daily life | Project vlog 06

You can find links to my IG, Ravelry, and project notes at the end of this description ^^ --- Hello everyone, This week's vlog features two projects that I was working on in March 2026, and both of them helped me step out of my comfort zone. In case you’re wondering what “out of my comfort zone” means here... well, they are superwash yarn and Fair Isle knitting. The projects are the Viva Cardigan and the Poppy Vest. Aren't those such great names? Btw, I don't know why I made so many mistakes with the Viva Cardigan. In this video, you'll see me finishing it and also overcoming a button disaster. I'm not really happy with the cardigan because of the superwash yarn that I used, but the fit is perfect! This is also my first time working on a Fair Isle project, the Poppy Vest. I can't believe I was scared that I wouldn't be able to do it. Well... at least I did it scared, right?? That's better! The vlog only has a few clips of me knitting the Poppy Vest though. Because... I haven't finished it haha. So there will definitely be more Poppy Vest content coming soon. But not that soon... And what else?? I actually (again) stepped out of my comfort zone and filmed myself cooking and baking more!!!! It took so much courage but aaaaa I finally did it! If you read this far, please give me a little pat on the shoulder because I really need it. Okay, enough of an essay. I had a really good time editing this vlog because it brought me back to 3 months ago when the weather wasn't that hot.
