KOMPAS.TV - Friday afternoon (July 10, 2026), security at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) was tightened. This measure was taken by the police to ensure the safety of evidence worth hundreds of billions of rupiah confiscated from 12 locations, including the detained witnesses. After conducting extensive searches over two days at 12 locations, the police finally displayed some of the confiscated evidence. These included gold bars weighing a total of 74 kilograms, stacks of foreign currency, mostly in Singapore dollars and US dollars, and hundreds of millions of rupiah. The total amount of confiscated evidence is estimated to be worth hundreds of billions of rupiah. The police confirmed that they are investigating the owner of the confiscated money, including questioning the owner of the house where the raid took place, Febrie Adriansyah. Previously, the inactive Special Crimes Director, Febrie Adriansyah, admitted that one of the houses searched by the police was his private residence. Febrie stated that the money and gold found in his house belonged to his owner. However, Febrie did not clearly explain who the owner is. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that it has not taken over the handling of three alleged major corruption cases currently being investigated by the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. This was conveyed by the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu. Asep stated that the KPK's involvement is limited to carrying out coordination and supervision functions. He emphasized that the KPK can only take over cases if they meet the criteria stipulated in Article 10A of Law Number 19 of 2019. Bhayangkara University Professor Hermawan Sulistyo believes that Febrie Adriansyah is one of the individuals who must be questioned by the police.
