Cycle the Northern Hunua Traverse Route

Join Janet and Kelvin - President of Totara Park Mountain Bike Club on the opening day of the long awaited Hunua Traverse, Hunua Regional Park, Auckland. Our route started in Clevedon, cycling up Otau Mountain Rd and through to Moumoukai Hill Rd Carpark, returning the same way. Its got some wicked elevation over a short distance of approx 29km with 800m climbing. Another option Ride the loop taking in Ness Valley and up Moumoukai Hill Rd before continuing through to Otau Mountain Rd for an awesome finish at Clevedon Or persuade someone to drop you off at the Moumoukai Hill Rd Carpark approx 14km and ride to Clevedon along Mckenize Rd. The Northern and Southern ends are currently not connected in the middle due to a slip. This will be fixed at some stage.
