Stuck in Dawlish! Two Trains Cancelled... – 09/07/26
With the next few days already booked up with local videos, I decided to break up the Teignmouth uploads with a quick solo trip over to Dawlish. Andy is still out of action with his hay fever, so my plan was simple—head over early, enjoy a gentle wander and get back home before the heat really built up. Along the way we revisit some old photographs, check in on the swans, feed them, and take a look at how various projects around Dawlish are progressing. Everything was going perfectly... until I returned to the station. My train home was cancelled! No matter, I thought, I'd have another little wander before the next one. Unfortunately, that train was cancelled too! For a while I was effectively stuck in Dawlish, although thankfully the third attempt was the charm and I eventually made it home.
