When Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi wanted to build an EV, they came to XPeng for guidance. What materialised was the XPeng MONA M03, a car that packs some XPeng tech and supercar aero for a knock-down price. Didi don't have much to do with MONA anymore, which stands for Made Of New AI, but XPeng has proceeded regardless, seeking out more affordable pastures with which to lure new customers into the brand.
