An example of teamwork and interdisciplinarity, it has been directed by Professor José Manuel Galán Allué for twelve archaeological campaigns. Its main site is located at the foot of the Dra Abu el-Naga hill, north of the necropolis of the ancient city of Thebes, now Luxor, in Egypt, and is notable for the magnificence of the chapel-tombs of Djehuty and Hery, high officials in the service of the royal administration around 1500 BC. The lecture, exceptional for its rigor and documentation, and which includes more than 225 edited photographs, is presented by Professor José Miguel Serrano Delgado, Professor of Ancient History at the University of Seville and collaborator on the project.
