Feature: Renaat Vandepapeliere / R&S Records (Electronic Beats TV)
When Renaat Vandepapeliere and Sabine Maes started R&S Records in 1984, no one could have guessed at the time that it would go on to develop in to one of the most important labels for electronic music. CJ Bolland, Jaydee, Aphex Twin, Joey Beltram, Model 500, James Blake and Lone are just a few of the artists who have left their mark on the label's sound over the years. For this installment of Slices on Electronic Beats TV, we traveled to Ghent in Belgium and sat down for a chat with charismatic label boss Renaat Vandepapeliere, where he opened up to us about his philosophy both for his label and his life.
