Historias Innecesarias: Dictadura militar argentina

In the early morning of March 24, 1976, radio listeners in Argentina heard all broadcasts go off and the 1915 military march, "Avenida de las Camelias," begin to play. Then, on national television, what many had predicted was confirmed: Isabel Perón's government had been overthrown, and a new military dictatorship was beginning in Argentina. But this one would be different from all the previous ones. This last dictatorship, a civilian-military-ecclesiastical regime, was characterized by repression, forced disappearances, death flights, and the theft of babies. It also included an economic plan, unprecedented media propaganda, a World Cup, a war against England, clandestine detention centers, and much more than can possibly be explained in a single video.
