MY HONEST TAKE: Is Ultimate General: American Revolution Worth It?

Ultimate General: American Revolution is the next major title by Game-Labs, whose previous titles include UG Civil War and one of my favourites Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail. American Revolution is years in the making and is essentially the definitive combination of all of their past developments in one game. Huge and beautiful land battles, fantastic tactical naval battles and of course all for the first time in the series on a new vibrant campaign map of North America. Now I’ve personally been playing Ultimate General American Revolution since well before release. I’ve spent over 100 hours playing about 5 campaigns so I think I’ve got a lot of experience to make a thorough review. In this video I’ll be talking about whether American Revolution is worthy of being called a true competitor to Total War, whether it’s a challenging, replayable and Historical game and whether with all of that in mind if it’s worth buying for the standard price of $50.
