Park Meadows Mall - Lone Tree Colorado - Revisited | ERA_Productions

Hello everyone, and welcome back to Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree Colorado! The mall would be developed by the Hahn Company. Opening its doors in August 1996, Park Meadows Mall stands as Colorado’s Retail Resort! When it opened, it would host over 200 shops and restaurants, in its 1.5 million square feet of retail space making it the largest mall in Colorado. Anchors at the time of opening would consist of Colorado’s first Nordstrom, and a Dillard's store with more to come. Foley’s and Joslin‘s would open in 1997, followed by JCPenney in 1999. Joslin’s would be converted to Lord & Taylor in the late 90s. 2000 would see the United Artists movie theater replaced with a Galyan’s store, which would be converted to a Dick’s Sporting Goods in 2004. 2004 would also see Lord & Taylor close, and it would be demolished and replaced with a new outdoor area called “The Vistas”, anchored by new Border’s Books & Music. Borders would close in 2011, and would be replaced with Forever 21. Ownership of the mall would shuffle around through the years, with current owners being Brookfield Properties. As of 2024, Park Meadows stands as Colorado’s largest indoor mall, and one of the most successful malls in the Denver area.
