Large Bust Dart Causing Drag Lines? Here's the Fix

If you have a large bust and you've been trying to fit it with just one single dart, there's a good chance that dart is enormous... and that enormous dart is creating problems. Drag lines, weird pulling across the bodice, nothing quite sitting right. One giant dart forces the fabric to do too much work. When you split that same dart intake into two or even three smaller darts, you spread the intake across the bodice and the fit starts to make a lot more sense. Here are a couple of options for how you can move the darts and create a more balanced pattern and more pleasing look. I'm curious which option is your favorite! This one also came out of your comments, someone asked about this specific situation after watching the earlier full bust adjustment videos, so if you're new here, those are a great place to start: 👉 Intuitive Full Bust Adjustment    • The Intuitive FBA: Full Bust Adjustment Ma...   👉 Full Bust Adjustment with a princess seam    • Full Bust Adjustment for Princess Seams: T...   👉 Full Bust Adjustment with no dart    • Full Bust Adjustment with No Dart: How It ...   If you want to find out more about PatternCon (The in person Pattern Party in Atlanta August 1-2), please visit us at https://patterncon.com/ If you love my magnetic cutting mat from @sewtites You can get your own here: https://www.sewtites.com/ Use my code CCA10 to get 10% off your order!
