Heavy lift at the Port of Port Talbot
On Friday 22nd March a Basic Oxygen Steelmaking (BOS) vessel – weighing 437 tonnes was discharged in Port Talbot Docks. Over a six month period, Associated British Ports' Engineering and Operations Team worked closely with Tata Steel, and their contractor A.L.E., to ensure the operation was a success.
