Ford Fiesta 1.4 Titanium Full Overhaul | Suspension, Brakes, Tyres & Engine Repair - The Car Edition
This 2012 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Titanium came into The Car Edition for what was meant to be fairly straight-forward work… But what started as routine suspension, brakes and servicing quickly turned into a full mechanical nightmare. The job list included: ✅ Track rod ends ✅ Springs ✅ Track rods ✅ Tyres ✅ Brake discs & pads ✅ Air conditioning pump ✅ Rear light ✅ Spark plugs ✅ Full service & MORE! We were ALSO booked in to replace a cam cover gasket… But when we removed the cam cover, we discovered something we never expected — the original cam cover had been cracked previously and siliconed from the inside 🤯 At that point, the only safe option was to replace the entire cam cover assembly. While fitting the customer-supplied air con pump, another fault revealed itself… 🔧 The thermostat housing had failed, so that had to be replaced as well. Almost all major parts, including tyres, air con pump and service items — were customer supplied, which always carries risk. And unfortunately, on first start-up… ⚠️ The brand-new customer-supplied air con pump was making noise. As industry standard, we provide NO warranty on customer-supplied parts, only on our workmanship. 🔍 TOP 5 GOOGLE QUESTIONS ANSWERED IN THIS VIDEO Is it risky to use customer-supplied car parts? What are the most common problems with the Ford Fiesta 1.4 petrol?
