I Never Liked the Fiat 500… Until I Built This One | Full Build

Honestly, I was never really a fan of the Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse until I had the chance to see a perfectly restored one in person. That’s when I truly started noticing its lines, proportions, and all the little details that give this car its unique character and charm. In this project, we are building the 1/12 scale kit made by Italeri , a model that pleasantly surprised me with its level of detail and overall quality. I won’t spend too much time on the unboxing since there is already a separate video linked in the description. However, I really have to congratulate Italeri for creating such a solid kit, even though there are a few small details they overlooked, such as the seat belts and the roll cage. These are only minor issues and they definitely do not take away from the value of the kit. The final result did not turn out exactly the way I wanted, maybe because I still lack experience working on this scale, as most of my builds are in 1/24 scale. Still, two things impressed me a lot: the fact that the kit represents a racing version and the fantastic color combination, which gives the model a very aggressive and eye-catching look. Out of every ten models I build, maybe one or two reach competition level quality, and this is probably not one of them. Even so, I’m satisfied with the final result and I think the project is definitely worth watching from start to finish. Throughout the build, you’ll see the entire process: parts preparation, painting, interior detailing, assembly, and all the small adjustments that bring this Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse to life. I’m still at the beginning of this journey, so feel free to ask me any questions in the comments. I’ll gladly answer with great pleasure. Enjoy the video!
