Cologne's Geusenfriedhof - the Rhineland's oldest Protestant cemetary
Please accompany me on a walk of a historically significant site. The Geusenfriedhof was established outside Cologne's city wall in the late 16th century, making it the oldest protestant burial site of the Rhineland. It is no longer used since the late 19th century - its old gravestones though make it a place very worth visiting. #germany #travel #history #cologne #cemetary #protestantism #pardonmygerman
